Founded in 2015 and based in Coleraine on the Causeway Coast, Glenara Elite Travel is a Luxury Travel and Tour Operator who are zealous about “Passionately connecting people & place” and providing Tourists and Golfers with a holiday memory that will last a lifetime.

Having worked in the local transport industry for over 20 years and having extensive knowledge of the local area, she felt it was time to start a new chapter in her life and do something she is most passionate about; showcasing the breath-taking beauty of my homeland on the North Coast of Ireland. Having travelled all around the world and seeing what it has to offer, Francine firmly believes that in the North Coast of Ireland and Ireland as a whole, they have our very own Jewels on the Nile.

The North Coast is home to some of the most exceptional Links Golf Courses in the world. Courses like Royal Portrush were host to the 2012 Irish Open and will also host the upcoming 2019 British Open. The North Coast is also the hometown of the No.10 pro golfer in the world G. Mac (Graeme McDowell). Another stunning course is Portstewart Golf Course which is set in classic links country amid towering sand dunes with stunning views of the Donegal Hills. Lastly, the Castlerock Golf Club embodies all the essential charms of links golf.

These courses are complemented by so many others in the near vicinity, the likes of Gracehill, Ballycastle and Galgorm to name a few. Just a short drive away you also have the famous Royal County Down and Ardglass courses. Northern Ireland is truly the home of golf with three major winners from its shores in the last ten years coinciding with its 3 superb golf resorts Lough Erne, Roe Park and the Hilton Templepatrick.

Frances received her education in Business Studies, CPC, IRL, and Health and Safety at Coleraine Technical College. She serves as a mentor and group leader for local youth groups, the bus industry safety council and global police trainers.

She is the proud mother of two sons and the grandmother of two grandsons. In her spare time she enjoys reading, going for walks, and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Coleraine, Ireland.
