Mary Sorobey’s journey in the field of psychology is characterized by her unwavering dedication to providing support, guidance, and healing to those navigating life’s hardships. As the owner of Sorobey Psychology, Mary and her team extend a helping hand to individuals seeking to break unhelpful patterns, gain new perspectives on life, and embark on journeys of healing and self-discovery.
 
With a Master’s in Counselling Degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree focusing on Psychology and Sociology, Mary’s expertise is grounded in academic excellence and practical experience. Her credentials as a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Psychologists Association of Alberta underscore her dedication to upholding the highest standards of care. Additionally, she underwent extended schooling within the addictions field and is currently a member of CCACF, and is a Certified Canadian Addictions Counselor (CCAC).
 
Beyond her practice at Sorobey Psychology, Mary also extends her expertise to Sorobey Assessments. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by industries such as Oil & Gas, Forestry, Construction, and Trucking/Freight Services, Mary and her team provide substance abuse assessments, employee training, and ongoing treatment coordination to promote healthy choices and employee wellbeing.
