After earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Augsburg University, Wendy went on to complete certification in Strength Strategy and Strengths-Based Leadership Coaching from People Acuity, Inc. She is a Certified Leadership and Talent Management Coach, Six Sigma Green Belt, and is trained in group facilitation methods, reconciling team conflict, coaching essentials for leaders, Six Sigma Process Management I-III, and strategic planning.

Lyrae Willis is a freelance science writer with a seasoned background in botany, plant ecology and ecological restoration. Passionate about communicating the compelling scientific stories of our time, she works remotely and on location, and is highly skilled in crafting copy and consulting on environmental matter. She is trained in fisheries surveys, wetland and riparian areas assessments, and is known for her entrepreneurial drive and work ethic.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, specializing in chemical environmental analysis, from the University of British Columbia, Lyrae launched her career in ecology and environmental program management. Prior to going freelance as a writer, she founded and ran Arrow Lakes Ecological Restoration, where she served as Ecological Restoration Specialist.
Lyrae is based out of Edgewood, British Columbia, where she enjoys nature walks, reading and is an avid traveler.

Committed to professional growth and development, she is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University School of Business and is on track to complete in 2023.
