Tawana James is a multifaceted professional with a broad range of expertise. Entrepreneurial by nature, she wears many hats and is a pillar of her community. She has over 15 years of experience in human services, 9 years in social work, and has been at the supervisory level for the past 5 years.
As Residential Service Coordinator of Alpha Phi Alpha Homes Inc., she manages daily healthcare and residential operations for the facility, acting as client advocate and overseeing administrative duties. She is also Janitorial Supervisor for RWK Services, where she supervises the work of cleaning staff and conducts inspections at numerous buildings across city of Cleveland.
Additionally, Tawana is the owner of Ruby’s Treasures, a Tawana James Enterprise that has most recently launched Beautiful Beginnings Beauty Supply Store Shop. The store features high quality hair, skin and cosmetic products at an accessible price point, and for personal, business and wholesale needs.
Tawana holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Administration from Tiffin University. She is based in Cleveland, Ohio, where she serves on the board of the Cleveland Police Foundation.

Kelly Davis is the Director of Family Office Services at Vandenack Weaver Truhlsen where she is responsible for assisting clients in a variety of areas within the firm. Family Office Services, accounting for clients, income tax planning and income tax return preparation are just a few specialty areas in which she is involved.
Some of the things she is responsible for in her role include ensuring clients’ Family Office is created and maintained based on the needs of the family, and assisting clients to ensure all necessary steps are taken to preserve wealth and plan for succession. She oversees all coordinating events and builds client relationships.
Kelly is proud to announce that she recently completed a course of An Introduction to American Law from Penn Law. She offers over 20 years of experience in accounting, human resources, customer service, business licensing and tax. In addition, she has served as Controller to several private businesses. Sidoney Samuels-Buckridge is a senior engagement and communications advisor to C-suite leaders in the life sciences, consulting and media industries. She is an award-winning engagement and communications professional with more than 20 years’ experience in public relations, journalism, corporate affairs and executive engagement in various industries. Sidoney Samuels-Buckridge currently holds a leadership role in AstraZeneca and is the author of Pain to Purpose: My Journey to Redemption.
Her role with AstraZeneca is Director, Employee Engagement, North America Research & Development (R&D), where she is Head of the Employee Engagement Department. Her responsibilities involve driving engagement and diversity and inclusion initiatives for North America R&D sites. She works with senior leaders to develop and effectively execute engagement opportunities to the more than 6,000 employees across five sites.
Sidoney is a strong project leader and a trusted consultant with experience in national and global environments. Some of her specialties include Leadership Consultation, Employee Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion, Strategic Planning & Execution, Change Management and Internal Communications.
Sidoney has a passion for people, and she spends a lot of her time mentoring young professional women – specifically women of color – on how to navigate the corporate world. Sidoney lives in Maryland with her husband, two sons and her mom. She enjoys reading, travelling and has written several published articles. Pain to Purpose: My Journey to Redemption is her first novel.
