Kelsey Thompson is President of LTW Community Development Corporation. Known as “Let’s Talk Wellness,” LTW, which stands for Let’s Talk Wellness” serves in Memphis, TN on Broad Ave. LTW is a place for community, strength and conditioning, group personal training, yoga, mobility and nutrition.

The LTW  community committed to ending obesity and obesity related illnesses in the Memphis community. We plan to do this through total body wellness education. Memphis currently ranks as the second fattest city in the US, vacillating between 1st and 3rd place over the last 3 years.

There are many factors to this outcome: low whole food consumption, lack of access to whole foods and knowledge on how to prepare and basic nutrition, lack of physical activity, city’s lack of friendliness towards and active lifestyle, low number of health educators.

LTW wants to change that, and they know they can. First, they firmly believe that total wellness is a right that should be afford to all. They have set out to educate the Memphis community on nutrition and fitness by meeting the people where they are.

Fitness is not just about athletic bodies. Fitness is about emotional health and wellbeing, mental health, and self esteem. Kelsey and her team are ready to make a change in you, and in the world of health.
